Uncertain Times

Uncertain Times is a short film expressing a feeling of Weltschmerz, forever on the outside and in these uncertain times, death so tantalisingly close. This film uses moving images and has been created in black and white. The inspiration for this piece are the seminal films of Chris Marker; La Jetée and San Soliel. However, the film itself is more in the manner of a Bauhaus video, it has a goth rock soundtrack and dance that feels like the end of time.  This occult obscuration is experiential and once entered it will become part of you. This short film seeks an audience with those who grasp the weight of history and the beauty of the visual image.
